My Baby Turned One

Yesterday, Owen turned ONE! I cannot believe that a whole year has gone by already. I was a little teary eyed knowing that Owen is no longer a newborn baby but a baby moving into Toddlerhood. It made me a little sad and gave me a huge understanding why people have more children. You can never get those sweet baby days back again. Of course we have so much to look forward to. I know its only the beginning. But I am sad nonetheless that my baby is growing up.

I cannot believe that a year ago Owen was only 5lbs and now he is a whopping 23.5 lbs! He is a butterball. He is standing and trying to stand on his own and take baby steps. He has a few words. He says, Da da, ma ma, ball, bird, sometimes I think he is saying Jett. He points at everything. He does all the normal baby stuff. He is just so much fun.
