This past weekend Chris and I got to go to an annual party without our kiddos! My sister and her hubby watched my boys, plus her 3 year old and newborn (thanks Auntie Melissa).
Chris and I had so much fun just being "US" again. Our friends who hosted the party have this Fall BBQ every year and it really kicks off the season. I love this time of year. It just means that we are just entering our season of parties and festivities! Cheers to the upcoming fun ahead!
We carpooled with another couple who are really good friends of ours. We spent the night at their home (thanks Herrin's). We had brunch the next morning (thanks Gayle's Bakery) & mimosas. At one point, my husband was cleaning out the car and wanted to know who was missing their underwear! Ha ha---I guess we had more fun then we expected to have. Ah, the joys of being a parent and trying to keep up with our past partying selves! Not!
