Owen is 5 months!!!

Owen is 5 months old! I cannot believe it. Time has just flown. Owen is growing up so quickly. Here are just a few milestones he has reached;

He is sitting up with assitance; He is able to stand with assitance; He is blowing raspberries, cooing, giggling, talking; He is trying to roll over; He is reaching for things now and grabing items that are close by; He is starting to eat a tsp of rice cereal a day (he loves it!); He loves to smile and laugh; He has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 months old! However, since he has been sick he has been waking up one or two time a night. I am hoping he going to get back on track soon! He is about 18 lbs. He has gained 13 lbs since birth and has grown about 5 inches.

He has been such a joy to us. We just cannot believe that he is already getting close to the 1/2 year mark. Since he is considered "premmie" (he was 4 weeks early) there are a few delays that I am noticing, for example I remember Jett was sitting on his own playing with toys by 5 months and Owen is not quite there yet. My doctor said that he might be about one month behind his actual age till age 12months. He seems to be progressing pretty well for the most part, it is just a few little things here and there that I am noticing. I think that he is going to really take off in the next 6 months...I am excited and sad at the same time. I just want him to bloom and do all things he is suppose to be doing and then I want him to stay just where he is right now.
