Cut my Hair and other stories from the Weekend

So on Saturday I went to Rezo (my hairdresser) and cut about 10 inches off my hair. I have had mixed emotions about it. I have been wanting to cut my hair for months now (since Owen was born) this past weekend I got my wish, but it did not turn out exactly what I wanted. I am kinda mad at my hairdresser. He is not cheap by any means and I feel like he did not take the time to really make sure it was done right he just started chopping and now one side is slightly shorter than the other. It is not horrible but if I point it out you'll notice it right away.

Which brings me to my latest ?/rant...why the hell are there so many incompetent people? I swear lately wherever I go someone is forgetting to put my groceries in my bag, forgetting to put items that I have purchased at boutique in the bag, making hair mistakes, never know the answer product questions...etc. I just don't understand. It is these people's job to 1) Do a good job & 2) get it right...I understand that we make mistakes and all that stuff, but geez...it seems like it is worse than ever. I just feel like I do not have the time for other people to make mistakes that I have to go back and have corrected. It takes time to make hair appointments, grocery shop & shop for clothes for my family. I really do not have time to go back and have hair cuts corrected, or to hunt down items that I've purchased but somehow never made into my shopping bag.

In any event....I am just ranting but really, I am not sure if it because I live Weed Ville that there is such a lack of customer service or if I am actually encountering an age and time when people just don't care about other people's time or money.
It was President's Day weekend which meant that Chris was home all weekend which in turn meant that Chris turned my house upside down. When he has a long weekend off he likes to clean the house! Ok..for most women this would be a god send but for me it is pure axienty. He puts my stuff in piles and wants me to deal with it. However, my baby is 5 months and I am still in survival mode, not spring cleaning mode. It all worked out and our upstairs office got a much needed cleaning and rearranging.
That was pretty much our weekend. We did get in our Sunday night dinner party. We have been hosting weekly dinner parties our house on Sundays. It has been pretty fun. Next weekend is the Oscars.....

I so agree with you about the lack of quality that exists in the service industry. I think there has been a huge influx of people who want to be praised and rewarded just for DOING THEIR JOB...what is that?!! It's sad that we are increasingly unable to depend on the people we pay money to do things for us. /hugs. Btw, your haircut looks great! I always feel like one side is shorter than the other when I get my hair cut. I hope he at least fixes it for you, either way.
