So far I have kept up with "52 Weeks of Crafts." I have posted a new craft idea every week. It has been fun. However, my creative imagination is going to be tested. I am trying to come up with ideas on my own but I have to admit I am looking at books and the internet for ideas as well. I am trying to put my own spin on projects. In no way do I think that I have the market on craft ideas, that's for sure...but it is fun to get ideas and then put your own spin on it. That's what I have always done. I just think it is fun to inspire and be inspired. I actually, inspired my neighbor with the wreaths. She loved the idea. Last night I went over to her house for a glass of wine and noticed her simple willow wreaths. They turned out great. It was fun to see her try it out and put her own twist on it. Plus as she pointed out it was free!
In any event, it is Monday and apart from my blogging hobby...I have a crazy amount of household crap to accomplish today...the usual...laundry (geez...I do not think this chore ever gets marked off anyone's list!), grocery shopping (my boys are eating me out of house and home!) they are eating so much lately that I can barely keep up. I think that Jett is on a growing spurt.
I had another order for hats that I have to get shipped off today. This order inspired my new line of boys "Cupcake Hats" the gal who ordered from me did not really care for my first "Boys Cupcake" hat so I made her another one that was more simple and not so wild...but I love how my first one truned out that I will be working on a boys line next. I always end up making girls hats becuase they are more fun and cute. I am trying to get inventory for my Etsy store but I cannot seem to get it together. I am working on it...I actually found a wonderful Esty store site that gave me some new idea's on how to showcase my hats and then be able to sell them made to order. Not sure how it will work out? I always have ideas...but getting them to happen is whole other matter. Jettson asked me the other day to teach him how to crochet...all of sudden I had a vision of teaching all the kids in the neighborhood how to crochet and then I could have my very own sweat shop! Just joking...but the thought did cross my mind. I cannot seem to pump out hats like I did when I had just one kid. It is a little more challenging with boys, plus, I have too many other things going on.
I am using yarns in the same color scheme. I am using the same concept as I did with the girls "Cupcake" hats. I am using the ends of yarn skeins.
Enough of all that. Kinda a boring post, but this is what is going on today. Happy Monday Madness to you and yours.
