Christmas

WE had a fantastic Christmas. The boys loved each and every gift they recieved. We did the usual. Christmas Eve at MoMo and Abada's house. Uncle Jeremy, cousin's Kayla and Avery were also in the mix. The kids had a blast eating too many cookies and not enough Christmas Eve dinner. It was cute...but as it goes with me I forgot my camera or so I thought I did (I found it in the back of the car after we left...I was so bummed...as I do this every year! I get too rushed and it's the camera that's always forgotten). As a result, I do not have any pictures from our Christmas Eve night.

Christmas Morning at home was fun indeed. We started with coffee, music and stockings.

I love that he wore his Santa hat. He does this every year. We have never asked him to wear it. It never fails to make me chuckle.

Owen loves Spongebob. He got a Spongebob Santa.

mmm...homemade hot chocolate with real milk chocolate.

Jett has been asking for a Snuggie since they came out. I found a Kids Snuggie. He loved it, of course!

Spongebob Sorry game.

Hubs took the boys to the Dollar Store to pick out gifts for eachother and of course they both wanted the samething-$1 motorcycles.

Tony Hawk skateboard ramp. They played with this all morning. It was huge hit!

The boys got Bendaroos. Jett made Spongebob's undersea world. I love these things. They really work and the best part is, no clean up!

Daddy and Jett had a marathon Lego building afternoon...which included daddy having an adult beverage.

As I was dressing the table...hubs kept looking at me & I knew he was wondering why I was going to all the effort...Because I am making memories not only for the boys but for all of us. It was a lovely Christmas with our little family. We are blessed with love, health and the means to make it all happen. It was the Merriest of Christmas'.

Christy, you are sooooo right to dress it up, and make another sweet memory. This will accumulate in their memory banks, and fill their emotional tanks to overflowing.
Congratulations on another great Christmas at home with the boys!!
Happy New Year to you and yours.
1/01/10 is just awesome.
Love you, Mary
