Cousins, Cowboys & Chardonnay

Yesterday, I had Kayla and Avery (my BIL {brother in law} kids). I went and picked them up at my BIL house and kept them for a little over 2 hrs. It was like having a 5 yr old, 2 1/2 yr old and twins! It was crazy, rambunctious, fun for a few hours. When hubby got home he had a huge smile on his face to see me cuddled with four kids reading them a story. That's his idea of a romantic evening. Needless to say I was very happy when my BIL showed up to pick up the girls.

Hubby is gone for the weekend. This is only the second time he has been able to get away since we have had kids by himself for a guys weekend. Its just me and the boys this weekend. I guess its always me and the boys, however it feels different with Chris being gone. The boys and I get eat what we want for dinner & take longer naps then when daddy is home. Tonight Jett and I played cowboys. Owen was his horse and I was his "pardner" as in "howdy pardner." Then the three of us packed it up and went to Pink Godzilla for sushi. We played at the play structure at the mall.

Jett is now watching "Star Wars the Clone Wars," Owen is sleeping and I am relaxing with some wonderful Chardonnay. Here's to the weekend!
