A Day at Gizdich Ranch

On Sunday our family met our friends, the Herrin's at Gizdich ranch for a relaxing Sunday afternoon picnic & apple picking. It was a beautiful Fall afternoon as only California can produce. We enjoyed the warmth from the sun as the kiddos played in hay bale tunnels & picked apples. Owen had a blast roaming around eating rotten apples and sand from the sandbox.
It was just a perfect day. It made me grateful for the wonderful family and friends that I have. Material things are wonderful. However, those "things" do not compare to being healthy, having healthy children or having wonderful friends. We have everything we could ever want or need. I realized that as long as I have the my family then that is all I need. Greed is killing us as nation. I for one want to get off the greed wagon and instead take a ride on the grateful wagon. You never know when it could all change.

What great pictures- makes me miss home all over again. We've been (finally) having decent weather here, and that's really helped.
