Ms. Heichel is the best teacher for putting up with 22 5-6 year olds! I asked Jettson what his favorite part of school was today and he said "Recess!" of course. However, he did say that he liked learning about shapes and that Ms. Heichel is a nice teacher. The saddest part about this morning was when we were leaving Owen started crying "My Jetty, my Jetty." He did not want to leave his big brother! It was so sad it made me tear up. I kept telling Owen it was going to be okay and that we would come back later to pick up "Our Jetty!"
Hoorah! We are on our way to our first school year. I am having a glass of wine toasting myself to a great 2009-2010 school year!
