A Hair Raising Story

I have been meaning to blog about this but something else kept getting in the way...

My hair story---about 3 weeks ago now I went to my hairdresser (Rezo) to get my hair trimmed and colored. I told him that I really wanted some highlights for summer. I go to my hairdresser every 3mo, or 4 times a year, or once a season. I budget for it. He is not cheap & I tend to change things every now and then as some of you have witnessed (more so lately cuz I'm fat and since I'm having a hard time changing that, I've decided to change my hair instead) it can cost me more, so I have to plan.

In any event, I told Rezo that I wanted the highlights really, really blond so that it contrasted with the darker hair. When he finished my hair was BLOND. Okay, wow. It was not what I in mind. It works, but I am so befuddled? I mean I said highlights not dye job. I am convinced that since he is a man, that he is like all other men, they have selective hearing when it comes to women whether or not they are a client, wife, mother, sister or friend. Men just do not listen to women. I am convinced of this especially, after my experience with Rezo.

LOL! I think that it looks great, but perhaps it's either time to demand that he give you free hair care, since he screwed up, or find someone who will listen to what you want! I totally agree that men have selective hearing, though.
